HOW DOES THE WEEKLY MAC WORK?

I bake just one flavor per week. Once it’s gone, it’s gone! Please check out the calendar of upcoming flavors, as well as my “shop” page, to see what’s available. If you want macs for a week marked as “open” or for a week in the future that isn’t listed yet, please select “order inquiry” and I’ll work with you to develop that week’s flavor. FUN!

WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR MACS?

Right now, I just sell directly. But stay tuned on my Instagram and Facebook pages for pop-ups and other fun things!

IS THIS A WEEKLY MACARON SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE?

That would be pretty awesome, right?! However, the “weekly” part of the name indicates that there’s only one flavor sold per week. As far as a subscription service? #futuregoals

ARE MACARONS GLUTEN FREE?

Macaron shells are naturally gluten free because they are made with almond flour rather than regular flour. However, some of the ingredients I use to flavor the shells or fillings may not be. When placing an order, please specify if you need your macs to be gluten free.

I HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES. CAN I STILL SHOVE THESE IN MY MOUTH?

When placing an order, please specify what food allergies you have and I’ll try my best to accommodate you. If it turns out that I can’t, just know that it’s because I love you and don’t want to hurt you with my fancy cookies. While I can make the macs gluten free, dairy free, and peanut free, the kitchen I work in is not entirely free of those items. I follow best practices to avoid cross-contamination, but in the case of a severe allergy, I would not want to risk it.

DO YOU MAKE VEGAN MACS?

I am working on it. Vegan macs are even trickier than egg-based macs. I haven’t had them turn out perfectly yet. But once I nail it down, I will update this section to say “YES!!!”

HOW DO I STORE MY MACS?

Keep them in your fridge for up to one week, or keep them in your freezer for up to one month in an airtight container. Let macs sit out for about 15 minutes before eating them as they taste best at room temperature.

CAN I ORDER MACS OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO?

I’m currently only accepting local orders. However, it is up to my discretion to make exceptions. Shipping will incur additional costs, and I can’t guarantee how perfectly the macs will hold up in transit.

WHAT FLAVORS DO YOU MAKE?

I’m happy to make any flavor off of my Instagram account @theweeklymac, but I also love creating new flavor combinations. When you submit an order inquiry (for a week without an already-designated flavor), we’ll work together to establish the flavor that you want.
